Ladies Advent Dinner

December 3 @ 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm

We want to welcome all of our ladies to our Advent Dinner on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2023. Doors will open at 5:00 and we want everyone seated by 5:30 so we can start with the dinner and
program.

Here are the details: Our purpose is two-fold. We are fundraising for our youth and are celebrating the women of our church. Last year we raised a good amount of money which made it
possible for so many of our youth to attend mission trips and Bible Camp. What a gift it was for all of us. The women of our church are in different organizations, but another purpose of this meal and program is to gather us all together in one place and at the same time to support each other, to affirm each other, and to lift up each other.
We will be serving a fabulous meal of ham, Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetables, lefse, Swedish tea rings, limpa bread, and rice pudding for dessert. Please let us know if you need a gluten free diet because we will accommodate you. The meals will be plated and brought to your table. We will accommodate those in wheelchairs and those with other physical needs.

Our program will be over the top! Greta Grosch the founder of the Looney Lutherans will have you in stitches! She is a well-known Twin Cities actress, producer, director, scriptwriter – and does so much more. She is the actress who plays Mavis, and the scriptwriter for the Church Basement Ladies Musicals so many of you have seen and enjoyed.
So, plan on being there, and bring your lady friends even if they don’t attend our church. The suggested cost of the meal and program is $25.00. If you can’t afford it, that’s
okay. God provides, so come anyway. If a younger person is coming with you, we will adjust the price. Sign up during church services in the fellowship hall on Sunday,
or call the church office at (651) 437-9052 and bring your money to the church. Because we have to calculate how much food to buy, please call or sign up by Nov. 26.

Let us celebrate in this joyous time of Advent when we herald the Christmas season – and the birth of Jesus Christ our Savior. We are blessed.
